Dry Limestone Adsorber - Limestone
High surface area Limestone is the key reactive agent used in the DLA reducing emission process. Encertec has tested an array of limestone throughout the United States. Therefore, they have the ability to provide its customers with the most cost effective limestone distributor, while ensuring that the limestone provided will be optimal for using in the dry limestone adsorber. In addition, Encertec is willing to test other limestone samples that customers are considering to ensure that the size and reaction process will successfully produce desired results. Delivery and supply of limestone is an important aspect in the operations of the dry limestone adsorber.
Encertec offers a pealing system, which can be placed below the dry limestone adsorber, for recycling the limestone that has been partially used. The recycling system removes the outer shell/layer of the limestone which as reacted with the fluorine. Then the system conveys the cleaned limestone back to the storage silo to be reused. This system cuts the cost and consumption of the limestone considerably. This process also reduces the amount of waste.
Waste Disposal
Waste Disposal varies from state to state and municipality to municipality. Typically the waste can be put into a non-hazardous waste facility. In addition, Encertec is investigating different areas in which the limestone can be used in after the adsorption process. Through these investigations, Encertec is attempting to find profitable ways to dispose of the waste.
