Dry Limestone Adsorber Crossflow Air System
In the heart of the Encertec adsorber, namely the cascades, the reaction between limestone and the exhaust gases takes place. The patented Crossflow Air System, whereby the gas inlets and outlets are placed at 90 degrees across the cascade area, assures optimal contact between the limestone and the gases with the lowest pressure drop.

Discharge System
It is important that the limestone flow in an absorber be even throughout the cross-section. By periodically moving a series of slide gates, spaced across the absorber base, a mass flow of limestone granules is achieved allowing for high efficiency contaminant removal.
Insulation
The adsorber, including the storage silo and discharge system, is totally insulated to eliminate cold bridges which can lead to condensation and packing of the limestone.
Modular Construction
The cascade area of the Encertec adsorber system is a series of modules. If exhaust gas volumes need to be increased in the future due to increased productivity or changes in raw material the system is designed to meet expansion requirements.
