Dry Injection Scrubber Reagents

Encertec's dry injection fabric filter (DIFF) scrubber systems are individually designed based on the EPA emission standards and customer's input. Our systems are designed to be capable of using a individual or multiple reagents across a single system to ensure the best possible and cost effective performance.

A key component of the cleansing process is selecting the optimum reagent(s). All factors must be considered: effectiveness, reagent cost, availability, relative maintenance, and byproduct/disposal options.

Encertec has experience working with the following Reagents:

• Hydrated Lime
• Sodium Bicarbonate
• Trona
• Powder Activated Carbon
• High Surface Limestone

Furthermore, Encertec is in contact with providers of these products throughout the United States. Therefore, they have the ability to provide our customers with the most cost effective distributor, while ensuring that the reaction reagent is of the highest standard.

Waste Disposal

Waste Disposal varies from state to state and municipality to municipality. Typically the waste can be put into a non-hazardous waste facility. However, Encertec is investigating into other ways that the waste can be used in an attempt to further lower operating costs and/or possibly even create a profit from the waste.
