Encertec, Inc.

Encertec was founded in 1992 to address environmental issues confronting the brick and ceramics industry. The company's mission statement is: Partner with industry to save energy and improve the environment; designing and supplying engineered systems with state-of-the-art technology. Benchmarking integrity, we will exceed our customer's expectations with cost-effective designs and good service.

Initially Encertec designed and supplied dry limestone systems (DLA's) under a license agreement with the Ohlmann Group in Germany. The Clean Air Act reduced allowable emissions requiring further reductions of acid gas and particulate emissions. To meet the new standards, Encertec designed and supplied it's first dry lime injection system with baghouse in 1999. Today there are more than 35 Encertec supplied scrubber systems operating in North America. These systems are individually engineered, using various reagents, baghouse designs, feed systems and reagent waste collection systems and layouts to suit each customer's pollution control requirements.
